POOL: The pool and common areas are for the use of homeowners and their guests only. The hours are dawn to dusk. These operational hours are according to Florida statutes and are therefore unlawful to change. All residents are given a key to enter the pool area. At dusk the gates are padlocked! Anyone found in the pool area after padlocking and/or dusk shall be deemed a trespasser and will be ejected and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This must be strictly enforced as our insurance carrier insists upon these measures to minimize liability in the event of injury and damage to property. Recent court findings also reinforce these measures. Remember, all damages settled against Westwood Association are borne by the individual homeowners one and all! The rules for pool use are posted on signs at the pool. Please obey them as everyone has a right to peaceful enjoyment of the common areas. Alcohol is strictly prohibited at all times! Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. The gazebo/pavilion area is the only area where food may be consumed. This area is available for parties during normal pool hours. Please notify a board member of the date of your event and the area will be reserved in advance for you and your guests. (homeowners are 100% responsible for their guests at all times) The community bulletin board is in the pool area at the rear of the clubhouse. 24 hr. Video surveillance of the pool area CLUBHOUSE: is open only for meetings and special events. The clubhouse is available for private parties by homeowners only. The fee is $75.00 with a security deposit of $250.00. The security deposit will be refunded within 48hrs. of the event upon satisfactory inspection of the premises. No alcohol may be served or consumed at any time! The clubhouse must be left in the same condition as upon entering and all trash must be disposed of by the renter. Two large refrigerator freezers are available along with a microwave oven and a stove. Tables, both large and small are available along with chairs. No use of the pool area. Renters are 100% responsible for their guests.
