Westwood Three Section 21, A Deed Restricted Community, is a neighborhood developed by the Behring Corporation In 1973. The concept was to design an affordable community for middle income, middle age people to retire to or vacation at. The 50 years or older group was the target. Today, however, we have become a vibrant community of all ages. We are not a 55 or older community. We are, instead a community of families and retired people living together in a quiet, friendly neighborhood in Tamarac nestled between Nob Hill on the West, 77th Street on the North and McNab Road on the South.
Tamarac has been one of the fastest growing cities in Florida, with new schools, shopping centers, community centers, medical facilities, and all the conveniences to make life in our community a pleasure. Westwood 21 is situated near three major expressways allowing you easy access to most destinations in South Florida and all points north.
Westwood 21 is a Deed Restricted Community with a very low monthly fee of $47.00. There is a wonderful maintenance program that takes care of lawns, roofs, house painting, and driveway painting, that costs very little to the homeowner. The price is based on the size of the home and runs approximately $38.00 additional per month, per home.
